Sherry is a follower of Jesus Christ, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and mentor to many. She loves the Lord with all her heart and is full of the Holy Spirit, and is a contributing friend. Sherry does not seek recognition in her contributions to this project, as the written prayers she contributes flow from the heart of God. Sherry desires to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus, strengthening their faith through her testimony. She lives out a "Prayer-Grown Life" as she asks, seeks and knocks in faith. Sherry desires that all who read her prayers might find eternal life as each one is "prayer-grown" through their own faith and trust in Jesus. She believes in the miracle and power of prayer, and has dedicated her life to loving God and loving others. Sherry craves the Word of God and has spent her life ministering to others.
Sherry's Story
"I have been praying for a ministry I could do from home since I cannot teach a class at this time. One night recently, as I got ready for bed, I felt God tugging on my heart to begin daily praying and sharing those prayers online. I told my husband about this and asked him to pray with me, because I was scared; not of sharing prayers, but of failing God in this. He prayed with me and grinned. I asked why he was grinning and what was funny, and he responded, "Because you have never feared failure before." I explained that my own real fear has always been failing my Father God. He encouraged me with an even bigger grin and a few words. As you read these prayers, I ask that you too might pray a quick prayer for diligence and faithfulness and that when I post the prayers He gives me, you might also share them with as many people as you can and ask them to also share, and so on. I told my husband that whether Jesus returns tomorrow or a hundred years from now, Christians need to start acting as if He will return now! Will you join me on this journey?"
