The Day of the LORD

“As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” ~Matthew 24:37

This morning before the sun came up and right before I climbed out of bed, the Holy Spirit was directing my words in prayer and praying through me. As I prayed, the Holy Spirit began to paint a vision in my spirit. I first saw the inside of a building constructed of wood. The room was big. It was also long and narrow. To the left and to the right of the long narrow room were large wooden beams and between each new beam was a room being constructed. 

I was then lifted up out of the construction and could see now that I was hovering over an ark, similar to Noah’s ark, but it was being newly constructed right in front of my eyes. Outside the ark, there were many large crowds of people pointing and laughing, mocking the ark that was being built. The one constructing the ark was someone unknown to the crowd, but who would soon be revealed. 

In a moment, I was quickly drawn back into the ark. This time, there was a woman dressed in white from head to toe and her head was veiled in light. I could not make out her face. A young male child stood by her side. They held hands. He too was also clothed in white, and his head was veiled in light. They stood in the center of the ark and the child started speaking. As I looked at the child, the Holy Spirit began to speak into me and through my own mouth as I uttered the words of Jesus: “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. In my Father’s house there are many rooms. Here I am. I have prepared a place for all who believe.”

As the Holy Spirit spoke the words of Jesus through my prayer, I saw two very large hands. The hands were glowing in bright light. The Holy Spirit guided my thoughts and said, “These are the hands of God.” In the palm of the hands were two beautiful infant children, babies that could not have been born more than a few moments prior. The babies were also glowing with radiant light. It was a male and a female child.

The hands of God took up the ark and the two beautiful babies along with Him; all at once they ascended into heaven. As the hands of God left the visibility of the earth, great chaos began to unfold and the vision began to fall apart. In my prayer, I asked God to allow me to see what happened next, but He did not allow me to see.

Truth is eternal. Truth never changes. Truth is the same yesterday, today and forever. God created man and woman in His image; male and female, He created them. God breathed life into existence, in the image of God, man was formed. God joined them together as one flesh and blessed them. What God created and joined together, let no one separate. 

In the mother’s womb, God lovingly and tenderly knits human life; He breathes the breath of life and gives each one a name and purpose. Life is sacred. Life is sanctified by God. You shall not murder. Everyone who hates his or her brother is a murderer; the light of God is not in them. Furthermore, if a man looks upon a woman with lust in his heart, he has committed adultery with her; he is an adulterer. Whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

The day of the LORD is upon us. Judgment for those who have rejected God is near. “For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, ‘Peace and safety!’ then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape,” says the LORD.

It is also written: “‘For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.’” (Malachi 4:1)

The time for repentance is today! The LORD, Jesus Christ, will return in these last days, and it will then be too late to repent! Jesus is the ONLY way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father, except through Jesus Christ; by His blood, you can know God and be known by God.

I share this vision with you that your faith might be strengthened. I also share it with you that you might be encouraged to remain fully in the TRUTH of Jesus Christ. We cannot serve two masters; remember that friends of the world are enemies of God. Many lost people do not know they are lost. Judgment is upon us; those in Christ will be given life eternal, but those in the world will be hurled into eternal fire. Please know this could be your mother, brother, co-worker, best friend or neighbor. This could also be your worst enemy. God desires that none should face the fires of hell, which is why He sent Jesus into the world. What will you do with this knowledge of truth?
