"Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" ~Psalm 94:16
"Rise up, O Church of God!
Have done with lesser things;
Give heart and mind and soul and strength
Rise up, O Church of God!
His kingdom tarries long;
Bring in the day of brotherhood
And end the night of wrong!
Rise up, O sons of God!
The Church for you doth wait,
Her strength, unequal to her task,
Rise up and make her great!
Lift high the cross of Christ!
Tread where His feet have trod;
As followers of the Son of Man,
Rise up, O Church of God!"
—Who will stand in the gap for this country? Who will stand and be the border? Who will keep their eyes looking up as the storms the enemy is raging crash against them? Who will listen above the roar for the Master's voice and obey? Who will trust Jesus to stand with them throughout the battle, because they know He has already won the war? Who will choose to truly believe that the same Power that rose Jesus from the grave indwells them? Who will listen, pray, rejoice and sing that JESUS IS THE KING OF KINGS?
Lord God, I am excited to hear that You are giving dreams, visions, words of knowledge and wisdom to Your people and they are being proclaimed to the nations!
Lord, forgive me for allowing myself to become like Jeremiah in the cave. Thank You for placing family members and friends in my life to remind me it is not You and me against the enemies of this world, it is You and all Your children who are willing to unite and stand strong!
You tell us in Ecclesiastes 4:12 ...though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A strand of three cords is not quickly broken. We are MORE than three. We are us and YOU!! When we unite and stand together with You, we become an unbreakable cord.
Unite Your Church as one. Strip us of our pride in denominationalism and make us one CHURCH under God, indivisible, sharing the Way to liberty and pouring out Your mercy and justice on all! In Jesus' all-powerful name, Amen!
