Eternal Sonship

I am convinced that worldly value, human understanding and earthly wisdom equate to nothing: it is but shifting sand under the ocean tide, a fluttering leaf tossed in the wind, a scorched field consumed by fire, an excrement being devoured by many.

But God, making himself known through Christ Jesus to all generations by the revelation of His Word and the outpouring of His Holy Spirit, has become our Abba Father!

He dismantles the fading intellect of man, but places a mantle of heavenly knowledge and wisdom over the shoulders of the meek. He destroys the earthly value of the flesh, but the righteous who walk by the Spirit inherit the Kingdom of Heaven!

Will you continue to walk by the flesh, my brothers and sisters, or will you kill the flesh and live by the Spirit of the Living God? How long will you wait, my brothers and sisters? How long will you grieve the heart of our LORD?

Can you see where your Shepherd is leading you? He longs to guide you to streams of living water, yet many are blinded by the falsehoods of this world and the immorality that has taken root in the flesh!

Can you smell the lush green pastures, or feel the warmth of the SON upon your back? Your good, good Shepherd desires to watch over you night and day, yet many have turned away, forsaking their first love!

Can you taste the fresh warm milk and the sweet golden honey as He nurses you back to health? Your good, good Shepherd carries you on His back, yet some of you have fallen asleep to your eternal doom!

You cannot run wild on the earth, disregarding the sound teachings of our LORD, Jesus Christ, and the apostles through whom we received the message of grace given to all nations, and also take part in the tender blessings of our Shepherd! For where you roam, you wander off, and where you travel, you approach the ledge.

But God, Our Father, stands waiting with arms wide open and is always near. Turn back, dear brothers and sisters, and return to the one who cares! For His grace is abundant, and His Mercy is new each and every morning. He longs to lift you up unto sonship, but the end of all things draws near. Amen.
