My heart breaks to see my brothers and sisters divided. You are in sin! We are in sin! Whether Trump, Hillary or a third party, God, Creator of heaven and earth, institutes our governing authorities. Now, for whatever reason, Trump was given authority.
Many dear brothers and sisters who live Godly lives and are on their knees daily in prayer, such brothers and sisters who fight for truth and justice and unity and biblical equality, voted for this wild, sinful and chaotic man, not because he is proclaiming Jesus as Lord and going to save the nations-many fought against this vote with everything in them, but rather because God placed peace in their hearts and directed their votes after hours of prayer and tears, careful consideration, because they were submissive and sensitive to his leading.
I'm not saying this is true of all voters, nor am I saying this was anything prophetic, but God has been known to do his will through his people many times before, and anger, fear and confusion came over the land by those who didn't understand. Does God intervene in a US Election? Absolutely. God is still very active all around the globe, in the hearts of men and the actions of government IF AND WHEN he chooses to be to fulfill his purposes.
Can God use a hormone crazed man to weaken an evil army forces by going against the politically correct way, like Sampson, and also use outsiders, like Cyrus, to strengthen his people and draw his people back to himself? Certainly! The Scriptures speak of this.
The fact is, too many of my brothers and sisters need to wake up! Perhaps this chaotic and wild, highly disliked, egotistical and self-consumed man will shake things up and make things so bad for everyone that we have no other choice than to cling to our Savior. God never said his choice for kings would please the people, but rather play part in drawing all people nearer to him.
I love you all! Let's all repent and start tending to this broken nation one life at a time, clinging to our Savior, for the time of his coming is so very near.
