Remain Faithful

Happy Sunday, everyone! We trust you either enjoyed or are enjoying a time of worship of the Father and celebration of LIFE with your family and friends today. Tiffany and I wanted to thank you for your many prayers and encouraging words. Each one of you is a blessing to our family, including those of you in the distance.

We had a minor setback from an earthly perspective. However, as people of God, we consider it a part of His perfect timing and perfect plan for our lives. Tiffany and I believe the best is yet to come, and God will make His way known in His perfect way.

The many stories of faith found in scripture reveal that God is most interested in our faithfulness and obedience to His voice, and not so interested in our own plans and ideas of how He might piece the puzzle of life together. His ways are much greater than our own, and His thoughts are much higher. From Abraham, Sarah and the conception of Isaac in their elderly age to offering their only son as a sacrifice and the seemingly last minute sacrificial substitute, we see God’s call to faith sometimes makes little sense in the minds of men.

A virgin birth, a humble life as a carpenter’s son, a life of selfless dedication to serving others just to be hung on a cross to die… does that really make any sense when you think about Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God? From human perspective, no, but through God’s perspective we see the perfect blood sacrifice poured out for all mankind that we all, who are sinners, might be saved.

Tiffany and I will continue to wait and pray, and when the door opens, we’ll walk through willingly – whatever that might look like or however it might be. Please pray that we will remain faithful as we continue in this journey of faith.
